Terms of Service
Last updated: May 4, 2026
1. Who we are
Glipsy ("Glipsy", "we", "us") is a browser extension that adds speech-to-text input and text-to-speech output to supported AI chat web applications. By installing the extension, creating an account, or paying for a subscription, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. The service
Glipsy provides software that captures microphone audio in your browser, transcribes it via a third-party speech provider, and synthesizes spoken responses from text you select. Glipsy is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The list of supported AI chat sites may change over time.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country) to use Glipsy.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Glipsy is offered on monthly subscription plans (Starter $1, Pro $3, Power $10). Each plan includes a monthly usage allowance; usage beyond that allowance is billed at the underlying speech provider's published rate plus a 50% margin. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. Pricing may change with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by emailing support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Glipsy to transcribe or synthesize content that is illegal, harassing, defamatory, infringing, or violates the rights of others. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer the extension, abuse our APIs, or resell the service without written permission.
7. Third-party services
Glipsy relies on third-party providers for speech-to-text, text-to-speech, payment processing, and authentication. Their terms also apply to your use of those parts of the service.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glipsy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us during that period.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a notice on this page; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. For questions about these Terms, contact us at support@glipsy.com.
